"PRELUDE TO SPRING" WINTER BULB FESTIVAL
UC Irvine Arboretum
Saturday, March 6, 10 am to 4 pm
Sunday, March 7, 11 am to 3 pm



This popular annual event features our beautiful South African bulb garden, filled with rare and exotic bulbs from South Africa. Species of Gladiolus, Moraea, Babiana, Allium, and many other bulbs are in full bloom from early March to late April. Experts from the UC Master Gardeners are on hand to answer questions about the gardens.
 
Admission is $2.00 per adult;  children under 12 are free.  There is ample free parking directly adjacent to the Arboretum. The UC Irvine Arboretum is located just south of the corner of Campus Drive and Jamboree Road on the UC Irvine North Campus.

OCCANGC PLANT AUCTION AND CHILI COOK-OFF

Charity event including a plant auction, chili tasting and judging, and silent auction. Sponsored by the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers with proceeds to benefit Ronald McDonald House and other groups.

UCCE MASTER GARDENERS OF ORANGE COUNTY 8th ANNUAL GARDENING SEMINAR

The goal of this seminar is to improve the gardening practices of Orange County residents who grow edible and ornamental plants. The program is designed to provide practical information for home gardeners; it is not intended to provide training for people employed in the horticulture industry. Any proceeds from the seminar are used to defray related expenses and to support Master Gardener educational activities in home horticulture.
