6th Annual Rose Pruning Workshop - January 21, 2012

Learn about gardening with roses with speaker Stu Span. The lecture will be followed by a free drawing, a pruning demonstration, and a hands-on workshop in the museum's rose garden. Attendees are invited to bring their own pruning equipment and join in. If your pruning tools need sharpening, the blacksmiths can do it for you.

Scarecrows in the Park Appreciation and Recognition

The Park's Pumpkin Harvest was held recently, and early projections estimate that approximately 12,000 visitors attended the event. Master Gardeners taught children about seed planting and helped them plant seeds into a Disney character ceramic planter mug to take home. Master Gardeners also on hand to answer gardening questions.
